Breakfast In San Luis Obispo

When we decided to open up for breakfast, Chef Shaun Behrens worked on developing and building upon our sister location, Mint + Craft’s breakfast menu. Specializing in hand-crafted flavor and local ingredients (we shop at the SLO County farmers markets weekly), our breakfast is further enjoyed while out on our patio, steps away from the Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.

Located in the heart of San Luis Obispo, the Eatery at Luna Red offers breakfast daily from 8a-11a, but this breakfast is far from usual. Continuing with our Latin roots and globally-inspired focus, Chef Shaun Behrens arrived at an elevated breakfast menu.

Enjoy a not so basic egg sando with a fried egg, gouda cheese, sambal aioli, and brioche bun… a decadent experience.

If you’re aiming for a brighter, healthier breakfast, the marketplace hash focuses on market veggies sauteed with potato, egg, and your choice of chorizo, tofu, duck carnitas, and bacon.


The slo bowl is also a great choice for the in-between brunchers looking for a hearty yet light dish. Crafted with Kandarian farms farro, quinoa, avocado, garlic-friend market veggies, choice of egg, and your choice of tofu, soyrizo, chicken or shrimp.





Finish your brunch with something sweet - bread pudding french toast made with fresh berries, whipped cream, and local honey. When guests order this for the table, they seem to always want another one…
